Mrs Sitshengisiwe Mahachi our Head of Legal and Secretariat holds a Bachelor of Laws (honours) Degree with the University of Zimbabwe (2000) and also holds a CIS qualification. She has a passion for working with the marginalised especially women. Sitshengisiwe was in private practice before joining the Ministry of Justice Legal & Parliamentary Affairs where she worked as a Magistrate in both civil and criminal courts. At the civil court she dealt with a number of women who were facing social injustice through domestic violence and financial neglect. She will always help the women with an open heart. Due to her great interest in Commercial Law she joined City of Harare after leaving the courts and worked as a Legal Officer. The incumbent also worked for the Zimbabwe Mining Development Corporation as Group Legal Advisor/ Assistant Corporate Secretary. Thereafter she worked for a Pension Fund as a Legal Advisor and Corporate Secretary.
